Under the Presbyterian form of church government, elders and deacons lead each church. And the Lord has blessed Ponte Vedra Presbyterian with a team of elders and deacons who possess genuine character. Our elders serve the pastoral needs of PVPC, including its outreach, mission, vision, growth and congregational care. Our deacons focus on specific physical and financial needs. Upon nomination, these men must undergo rigorous training and examination in theology and leadership before they are presented to the membership for election.

Many talented staff members assist the church’s elders and deacons in meeting our congregation’s needs and effectively ministering to our community. (Some members of the PVPC team are both elders and staff members, such as our senior pastor.)
