Shades of Grace

The Visual Arts Ministry, Shades of Grace came into existence with the purpose of nurturing and developing the Christian Artist. Visual arts played a major role in early churches. It was the most commonly used form of communicating scripture to the illiterate of society. Stained glass windows were also important in educating people. Our hope is to bring the arts back to their original place in the church, where people will see the creative nature of God and feel His love for them.

Shades of Grace is open to all ages and to the community of believers who want to use their God-given talents to glorify Christ.

Shades of Grace offers opportunities for growth and knowledge in the visual arts, operates as an in-house art department and also supports Bethel Gallery, located in the south wing of the church. Bethel means "House of God'. The gallery has shows throughout the year, giving the artist an outlet for the creativity gifted by God. This creates the environment to minister to others by revealing the greatest creator of all.

Our Mission: Praising the creative nature of God through the Visual Arts.

Our Purpose: To use the God-given gift of artistic expression to communicate God's love to us, to build community, to enhance worship, to expose the creative nature of God and to bring Him glory!
