Women's Ministry
The PVPC Women’s Ministry seeks to provide an environment for women to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through a deeper understanding of God’s love, acceptance and transformational power. Our theme verse for 2010-2011 speaks of patience and trust - what we need most in the middle of a difficult season. Yet we are so quick to run ahead of Him. What He calls us to do is pray wait and trust.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” (Psalm 27:14)
Our Goals and Values
MINISTER Christ’s love to the women in the church so they will desire a vital love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
MEET each woman’s needs and provide opportunities for Christian growth for women of all ages, interests and backgrounds.
BUILD close personal friendships that are uplifting and glorifying to God.
ENCOURAGE the women in the church to grow in their faith and spiritual maturity.
EQUIP the women in the church to minister in their church and community.
PROMOTE an attitude that encourages women to attempt new ventures in ministry.
